Overview

After completing a feedback survey, your patients see a recovery share card — a branded card showing their recovery progress that they can download or share on social media. You can control what appears on this card and whether sharing is enabled.

Accessing Settings

  1. Open the Settings page from the main menu
  2. Tap Social Media Sharing (located above Security Settings)

Settings

Show Recovery Percentage

Default: ON When enabled, the card displays the patient’s recovery score as a percentage (e.g., “72%”) in a circle on the card. This gives patients a clear visual of their progress.

Show Surgeon Headshot & Name

Default: OFF When enabled, your profile photo and name (with “Dr.” prefix) appear on the card instead of the recovery percentage. This is great for building your personal brand.
This option is only available when Show Recovery Percentage is turned OFF and you have uploaded a headshot in your User Profile.

Enable Sharing

Default: ON Controls whether the “Share My Progress” button appears on the card. When turned off, patients can still see their recovery information but cannot share it on social media.

Share Only If Improved

Default: OFF When enabled, the share button only appears if the patient’s latest survey score is higher than their previous score. This ensures patients only share when they’re showing improvement.
This option requires Enable Sharing to be turned ON.

What Always Appears on the Card

Regardless of your settings, the card always displays:
  • Your organisation name
  • Appointment location (city/state)
  • Your organisation’s website URL (if entered in your Organisation Profile)
  • Your organisation’s phone number (if entered in your Organisation Profile)
  • Days since surgery
  • “Powered by Tesa Cloud” branding

Live Preview

The settings page includes a live preview of the card that updates in real-time as you toggle settings. This shows you exactly how the card will look to your patients before they see it.
Make sure your organisation profile has your website URL and phone number entered — these appear on the card and help patients find your practice.
