Analytics Dashboard
The Analytics Dashboard provides visual insights across all your organisations, helping you track surgical activity, patient demographics, and outcomes over time.
Accessing the Dashboard
Click Reports in the navigation menu to open the Analytics Dashboard.
You need the Run Reports permission to access the Analytics Dashboard. Contact your organisation administrator if you don’t have access.
Dashboard Layout
The dashboard displays ten metric cards in a responsive grid:
- Wide screens - Two-column layout
- Narrow screens - Single-column layout
Pull down to refresh data at any time.
Available Charts
Surgeries per Week
A line chart showing surgical volume over the last 12 months.

Patient Demographics
Three pie charts provide demographic breakdowns of your patient population:
Gender Distribution
Shows the gender breakdown of all patients with completed procedures.
Ethnicity Distribution
Displays patient ethnicity demographics across your organisations.
Age Groups
Shows patient age distribution at the time of surgery:
- Under 15
- 16-25
- 26-35
- 36-45
- 46-55
- 56-65
- 66+
Each pie chart displays both count and percentage values.
Average Tourniquet Time
A line chart showing average tourniquet duration trends over the last 12 months.

This chart is only visible to primary users who have configured review site URLs in Rating Sites. Using Filters
Some charts include a ligament filter dropdown:
- Click the filter icon in the chart header
- Select All or a specific ligament type
- The chart updates to show filtered data

Hover over any data point to see detailed values.
Legends
Multi-series charts include legends showing:
- Colour coding for each series
- Series labels
- Click to toggle visibility (where supported)
Data Scope
The Analytics Dashboard aggregates data across all organisations you belong to:
- If you’re a member of multiple organisations, data from all is combined
- Each chart pulls from organisation-specific database views
- Data refreshes each time you load the page
Empty States
If a chart shows “No data available”:
- You may not have any procedures of that type
- The date range may not contain data
- Try adjusting filters or wait for more data to accumulate

The Analytics Dashboard is read-only. To generate individual post-operative reports, use the Generate Post-Op Report feature from a procedure’s detail page.
