# Dashboard

> Navigate and understand your Tesa Cloud dashboard

# Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your central hub in Tesa Cloud, providing quick access to your daily schedule, recent patients, and key actions.

## Dashboard Layout

Your dashboard displays:

* **Today's Date and Timezone** - Current date with your organisation's timezone shown in parentheses
* **Upcoming Appointments** - Scheduled operations for today and upcoming days
* **Quick Actions** - Fast access to common tasks
* **Navigation Menu** - Access all features via the sidebar

  The timezone displayed next to the date (e.g., "Sunday, 23 February 2026 (America/Toronto)") is your primary organisation's timezone. This determines what "today" means for your appointments. You can change this in **My Organisations > Edit Organisation > Timezone**.

## Quick Actions

From the dashboard, you can quickly:

## Today's Schedule

The appointments section shows your surgical schedule:

* **Patient Name** - Initials and last name for privacy
* **Procedure Type** - The scheduled surgery type
* **Time** - Scheduled start time
* **Status** - Scheduled, In Progress, or Completed

Click any appointment to view details or begin the operation.

## Navigation Menu

Access the full navigation menu by clicking the menu icon. Available sections include:

| **Home**               | Return to dashboard           |
| **My Profile**         | View and edit your profile    |
| **My Patients**        | Manage patient records        |
| **Schedule Operation** | Create new appointments       |
| **Begin Operation**    | Start a procedure             |
| **History**            | View past procedures          |
| **Reports**            | Access reporting features     |
| **Settings**           | Configure your account        |
| **Help**               | Access user guide and support |

## My Reputation

Primary users with a provider profile can see their online star ratings and review counts directly on the dashboard. This section displays data from Google, RateMDs, and Healthgrades based on the review profile URLs you've configured.

### What You'll See

* **Star ratings** — Your overall rating on each platform (out of 5 stars)
* **Review count** — Total number of reviews per platform
* **Last updated** — When the data was last refreshed

Only platforms where you've added a URL in [Rating Sites Profiles](/settings/rating-sites) will appear. To see historical trends of your ratings and review counts, visit the [Analytics Dashboard](/reports/reports-dashboard).

### How It Refreshes

| Trigger       | Frequency                                                    |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Automatic** | When you load the dashboard and data is more than 7 days old |
| **Manual**    | Click the refresh icon — available once every 24 hours       |

  If you haven't added any review site URLs yet, you'll see a link to set them up. Go to **My Profile → Rating Sites Profiles** to add your URLs.

  The reputation data is extracted from your public review page using AI. Ratings may take a moment to load the first time.

## Dark Mode

Tesa Cloud supports dark mode for comfortable viewing in low-light environments. Toggle between light and dark mode using the switch in the navigation menu.
