# Create Your Account

> How to sign up for Tesa Cloud as a surgeon or team member

# Create Your Account

There are two ways to join Tesa Cloud:

1. **Sign up as a Surgeon** - Create a new account and set up your organisation
2. **Accept an Invitation** - Join an existing organisation as a team member

## Sign Up as a Surgeon

<Steps>

    Go to [app.tesacloud.com](https://app.tesacloud.com) and click **Sign Up**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Your Details">
    Provide your email address and create a secure password
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify Your Email">
    Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete Your Profile">
    Enter your professional details including:

    * Full name
    * NPI number (if applicable)
    * Specialty
    * Practice information
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set Up Your Organisation">
    Create your organisation profile with:

    * Organisation name
    * Primary location
    * Contact details
  </Step>

## Accept a Team Invitation

If you've been invited to join an existing organisation:

    Look for an invitation email from Tesa Cloud
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click the Invitation Link">
    Click **Accept Invitation** in the email
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create Your Password">
    Set up your account credentials
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete Your Profile">
    Enter your name and professional details
  </Step>

  Team members receive permissions set by the primary user. Contact your organisation administrator if you need access to additional features.
</Note>

## Password Requirements

Your password must meet the following criteria:

* At least 8 characters long
* Contains at least one uppercase letter
* Contains at least one lowercase letter
* Contains at least one number

## Biometric Sign-In

After creating your account, you can enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) for faster sign-in on mobile devices. See [Login](/getting-started/login) for details.
